All students must be plugged into Google Classroom for the daily agenda,  math assignments & reminders. This is the platform for students to receive and submit their assignments, ask questions, and interact with their class. For student to teacher communication, we will use Google Hangouts. In Google Hangouts, students can send teachers quick messages, start a Google Meets for 1-on-1 academic support, or send teachers documents.

IXL is personalized learning. With a comprehensive K-12 curriculum, individualized guidance, and real-time analytics, IXL meets the unique needs of each learner.

We use IXL for math conceptual practice for in-class practice and homework assignments. Students are given a topic to practice and a point goal to reach.

Khan Academy is an online math website that provides math video lessons with a wide range of concepts and a handful of practice problems for each concept. We use Khan Academy for both resources. Students are assigned videos to watch to deepen or begin their understanding of select math concepts and assigned 4 - 7 problems to practice those concepts.

Gizmos are interactive math and science simulations for grades 3-12. Over 400 Gizmos aligned to the latest standards help educators bring powerful new learning experiences to the classroom.  We will use Gizmos to enhance and add a virtual hands-on experience to our math learning.

We use Quizlet Learn as a fun way to collaboratively practice and study math concepts.  Students will receive and create Study Study to prepare themselves for math quizzes.

We will also using Quizlet Live during remote learning to competitively practice different math skills we are learning. Students will work together in teams to figure out which group member has the correct answer. Students just need the Quizlet Live Code to join each game, and they can play on their phone, computer, iPad, or tablet !

Kahoot! is another game-based learning option for students to practice math concepts. Questions and answer alternatives will be displayed on the shared screen, while students answer on their devices. We will also use Zoom to play with students from different locations for distance learning.
